Lambo giveaway

Richart Heart just teased on twitter asking his followers whether a lambo giveaway would be popular or not.

I want to offer my take on why this is a brilliant idea, and my idea on how to execute it.

Bitcoiners dream of lambos

Anyone fallowing r/bitcoin is familiar with the number of memes that refer to Lambos. While I am not a fan of fancy cars, I have no interest in them — for some reason lambos have stuck. Not feraris, not BMWs, not anything else — Bitcoiners love their Lambo meme. They buy Bitcoin thinking that it will moon and they will one day get a Lambo like those guys who got in early. The sad reality for people in Bitcoin is that it’s quite late, the likelyhood of Bitcoin hitting a million dollars is ….. a ways away.

Most people who get into Bitcoin, want price appreciation so that they can get a lambo. Most Bitcoiners have not been exposed to HEX yet, and don’t know that it’s the coin that can actually get them a lambo. It’s the perfect symbol to tap into their psyche to get into HEX.

HEX price after Big Pay Day.

The HEX price after big pay day is unknown, but one thing that is for sure is that there will be very limited supply. Today the contract absorbs millions of dollars of buy pressure directly through inflation. Last night after the AA flipped there was almost instantly 12K ETH that entered the lobby, had that been on Uniswap HEX would be at 25c with a purchase like that. At present an excess of a million dollars (buy to sell) sends the price up 10–30% which is crazy.

Pundits are convinced that BPD will be followed by a massive dump since everyone gets all their coins. This might happen, there’s a good chance there will be a dump. But the economics support that dump being followed with a moonshot, especially if there is anything that triggers demand and market buy pressure.

What better buy pressure than a lambo giveaway? You’d get a mad dash, and all of those buyers would cause price pump, a lot of price pump, and then all of those buyers who think: “Hey I got in this to get a free lambo, and now my asset appreciated enough to buy MY OWN lambo. Gee I like this coin more than Bitcoin, cause it goes up a lot more”. Those guys moving their Bitcoin to HEX will cause more buy pressure. In short I think a 500K car (estimate) could send HEX to a dollar, which more than pays for the car for any whale in HEX. It doesn’t have to be RH, or the OA, or the AA recipient — the GodWhale is incented to put this on. The dude who just staked 10M for 15 years? He can afford the car now, and his asset will appreciate so far beyond the 500K it would be insane.

Implementation.

The giveaway should have the following aims:

• True onboarding of users
• Price appreciation.

The giveaway needs to be short enough that “you gotta get in”, but long enough that no one misses the boat. r/bitcoin needs to get plastered with people shilling the crap out of it, getting banned but they don’t care. It has to be AFTER the Big Pay Day since AA is currently absorbing all of the economic energy in the system.

Implementation Idea

• Every purchase through Uniswap of 1ETH or higher gets you a ticket. Staking the entirety of that amount for >1yr, gets you another ticket. Staking is important, it forces stickiness and all of those stakers will see their bags go to the moon.
• Support shill linking to ethhex.com — any purchase using the shill link gets the shiller another ticket. I want r/bitcoin shilled by every Bitcoiner that becomes a HEXican. Shill support is important, you can’t keep drawing from the same well, we need new users. HEXicans can obviously participate, but most have already blown their load and are already all in.
• Giveaway runs from Nov 24 — Dec 24. Winner declared on Christmas.
• The actual lambo has to have the HEX logo plastered all over it, we want that thing on the fucking streets tearing it up. Bitcoiners need to know, that HEX is where you get your Lambo.
